Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking compassionate Bank Support Workers for our Highfields service in Caldecote, Cambridge. You will help residents gain independence in daily life, support personal care, and encourage participation in local community activities within a supportive team.

Roles involve varied shifts (7am-2pm, 2pm-9pm, 9pm-7am) and a requirement for a full UK driving license. DBS checks and references will be completed for all applicants.

As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our supported living service Highfields in Caldecote is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in the community going swimming or assisting them with arts and crafts

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.

We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals with autism ,and physical disabilities and complex care needs.
