Job summary

Field Lane is seeking a Senior Care and Support Worker in Hadleigh, Suffolk, to join our supported living project delivering person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities.

The role offers both part-time (20 hours) and full-time (37.5 hours) options, with induction, training, and a supportive team.

Applicants should have NVQ Level 2 in Care and relevant experience; must be a driver and able to work with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Care or willingness to complete.
• 2+ years’ experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
• Caring, empathetic, non-judgmental attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm, cheerful and professional in challenging situations.
• Commitment to high standards and person-centred support.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care and support alongside a dedicated team.
• Deliver personal care in line with individual care plans.
• Support with daily living tasks such as mealtimes, laundry and housekeeping.
• Promote inclusion, dignity and independence for every client.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families and professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
