Job summary

Cygnet seeks Bank Support Workers to provide compassionate, flexible care at Broughton Lodge, a specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities. Shift patterns include days and nights, with DBS checks required and comprehensive benefits.

You will support individuals with physical and emotional needs, contribute to a safe, supportive environment, and work with a multidisciplinary team to promote independence and community integration.

• Ability to provide physical and emotional support with patience and care.
• Commitment to safeguarding and respecting service users’ independence.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs.
• Report on medical and welfare needs as required.
• Safeguard service users and maintain a safe environment.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all.
