Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking confident Bank Support Workers to deliver high-quality care at Cygnet Nield House in Crewe. You will work bank shifts, offering physical and emotional support to people in our care and learning to meet individual needs in a safe, respectful environment.

Successful candidates will have a genuine drive to make a difference and strong communication skills, with preferred experience in mental health care. DBS check will be required.

Qualifications

  • Genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in people’s lives.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
  • Preferably experienced in care/support work within mental health.

Responsibilities

  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
  • Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
  • Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
  • Assist with medical and welfare needs.
  • Report on medical and welfare needs as required.

You'll be workingbank shifts, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care atCygnet Nield HouseinCrewe.

Cygnet Nield Houseis split into two distinct wards, each offering specialist mental health services:

Clarion Ward-14 bed complex personality disorder service for women with a dual diagnosis of personality disorder and co-morbid disordered eating.

Compton Ward-15 bed acute service for women. The service provides a safe and stabilising environment for women who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.

Your day-to-day
