Job summary

Cygnet is seeking a confident Bank Care & Support Worker to join Beckly House in Shelf, Halifax. You’ll help deliver outstanding healthcare to service users with learning disabilities and complex needs, with 12-hour shifts to fit your lifestyle.

You’ll be part of a supportive team, with opportunities for training and development, and a range of benefits including discounts and wellbeing resources. Successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
• Learn about individuals' specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with and report on medical & welfare needs.
• Safeguard.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all.
• Supporting service users to access the community, to attend things like work, college, hobbies & activities, days out & holidays.
• Supporting the service users to grow, develop & learn through engaging them in tasks such as cooking & cleaning.
