Job summary

Agincare in Grantham is seeking Bank Support Workers to help individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex needs live independently in their own homes and community. Various shifts including full-time, part-time and bank roles are available in Grantham, Lincolnshire.

You will be part of a compassionate team delivering person-centred outcomes, with opportunities for training and progression within a family-run care provider that values equal opportunities.

We are looking for BankSupport Workers for our Services in Grantham,

This is a unique service within Grantham offering supporting living, enabling people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and local community.

We are looking for support workers to join our amazing team, and to continue delivering outstanding outcomes.

As part of your day to day work you will be offering the following;

• Encouraging – people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.
• Supporting – Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.
• Communicating - effectively communicate using people’s chosen methods
• Engaging - promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life
• Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioral support approaches
• Recording - keeping accurate records &reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management
• Team player – Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
