Our 16+ accommodation services are designed to support care-experienced young people in their transition to independent living.

As a Bank Support Worker, your role will involve providing compassionate and person-centered support to young people, helping them to:
Working for Storyy Group means that no two days are the same. You’ll support young people with daily tasks such as cooking, maintaining their rooms, attending health appointments, and applying for benefits. You will help them to learn life skills, assist with CV writing, and support them in job interviews. You will also manage challenging situations, such as substance misuse, barriers to education, and emotional distress.
Our goal is to help young people build positive relationships, thrive in a safe environment, and gain the confidence to move toward independent living.
Matty is a 16-year-old in our care, with a background of neglect, abuse, and several foster placements that have broken down. He struggles with aggressive behavior, self-harming, and substance misuse. Your role would be to help Matty feel safe, build trust, and work toward independence.

Job Type: contract working on a rota pattern (including weekends and Bank Holidays) as needed, please note 8-16 hours is not guaranteed; it is dependent on cover required.
Pay: £11.75 per hour
Expected Hours: 8 – 16 hours per week. Early shift: 8am to 4pm / Late shift: 12.30pm to 8.30pm. (Both shifts will require you to take a 30-minute break as a legal obligation. This may not always be able to be taken off site)/Night Shift 20:30 – 08:30. Lone working will be required.
Work Location: Bracknell and Earley, Berkshire (in person)
