Job summary

Optegra has an exciting opportunity for a Bank Scrub Nurse to join our friendly team at the Brighton Eye Hospital. This zero-hour contract offers flexible shifts and the chance to work within a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality ophthalmic care.

You will be an RGN or ODP with current NMC/ODP registration, at least one year in theatre, and knowledge of private operating settings.

Qualifications

• Be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
• Have a current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions.
• Previous theatre experience, minimum of one year.
• Have knowledge in private and operation settings.

Responsibilities

• As part of a multi-disciplinary team, provide high standards of patient care.
• Work alongside clinical colleagues and optometrists delivering diagnostics, pre-assessment and post-operative ophthalmic care and treatment.

The Role
