Job summary

Optegra Eye Health Care in Hounslow is recruiting a Bank Scrub Nurse to join a friendly private eye hospital on a zero-hour contract with flexible shifts. We'll also require you to cover shifts in our North London hospital.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, delivering ophthalmic theatre care, diagnostics, pre-assessment and post-operative care alongside clinicians and optometrists across our Hounslow site and North London hospital.

Qualifications

• Be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
• Current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions.
• Previous theatre experience, minimum 1 year.
• Knowledge of private and operating settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of care to ophthalmic patients in theatre setting.
• Work with clinical colleagues and optometrists to deliver diagnostics, pre-assessment and post-operative care.

The Role

As part of a multi-disciplinary team with an emphasis on quality patient care, you will provide the highest standards of care to our patients. You’ll work alongside clinical colleagues and optometrists delivering diagnostics, pre assessment and post operative ophthalmic care and treatment.

What You’ll Need

• Be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner
• Have a current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions
• Previous experience in an Theatre, minimum of one year
• Have knowledge in private and operation settings.
