Job summary

Optegra Eye Health Care in North London is seeking a Bank Scrub Nurse to join our private eye hospital team. This zero hour contract offers flexible shifts and the chance to work within a renowned ophthalmic setting.

You will provide high-quality theatre nursing care, supporting diagnostics, pre-assessment and post-operative ophthalmic care within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP).
• Current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the highest standards of care to ophthalmic patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Work alongside clinicians and optometrists delivering diagnostics, pre-assessment and post-operative care and treatment.

The Role

As part of a multi-disciplinary team with an emphasis on quality patient care, you will provide the highest standards of care to our patients. You’ll work alongside clinical colleagues and optometrists delivering diagnostics, pre assessment and post operative ophthalmic care and treatment.

What You’ll Need

• Be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner
• Have a current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions
• Previous experience in an Theatre, minimum of one year
• Have knowledge in private and operation settings.
