Job summary

Optegra Eye Healthcare is seeking a Bank registered nurse to join the NHS Patient Services Team. This zero hour role offers flexible shifts and pays up to £30 per hour depending on experience.

You will lead virtual pre-operative assessments and provide clinical guidance throughout the patient journey. Ideal candidates hold an NMC registration, a nursing degree, and at least two years post-qualification experience with strong communication and IT skills to manage patient records and office

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and registration with the NMC.
• Minimum two years post-qualification nursing experience.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for Vision Correction.
• Experience of using patient administration systems and electronic medical record systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and IT proficiency with Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver clinical NHS Patient services with virtual pre-operative assessments to assess suitability.
• Provide excellent customer service and clinical guidance throughout the patient journey.

The Role

Lead and be responsible for the delivery of our clinical NHS Patient services team, ensuring effective delivery of virtual pre-operative consultations to assess the suitability of prospective patients for treatment. Lead and be responsible for the provision of excellent customer service to patients, providing clinical advice and guidance at all stages of the patient journey.

What You’ll Need

The ideal candidate will have:

• Nursing degree and registration with the NMC
