Job summary

Optegra is seeking a Bank registered nurse to join our NHS Patient Services Team in Manchester. This is a zero-hour contract with flexible shifts and pay up to £30ph depending on experience.

You will lead delivery of clinical NHS patient services, provide clinical advice and support across the patient journey, and ensure exemplary customer service. NHS and Vision Correction focus.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and NMC registration required.
• Minimum two years post-qualification nursing experience.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for Vision Correction.
• Experience using patient administration systems and EMR systems.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong IT skills and proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and be responsible for the delivery of our clinical NHS Patient services team.
• Provide clinical advice and guidance at all stages of the patient journey.
• Ensure excellent customer service to patients throughout the process.

The Role

Lead and be responsible for the delivery of our clinical NHS Patient services team, ensuring effective delivery of virtual pre-operative consultations to assess the suitability of prospective patients for treatment. Lead and be responsible for the provision of excellent customer service to patients, providing clinical advice and guidance at all stages of the patient journey.

What You’ll Need

• Nursing degree and registration with the NMC
• Minimum two years post qualification nursing experience
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for Vision Correction
• Experience of using patient administration systems and electronic medical record systems
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong IT skills, able to use all Microsoft Office applications and other
