Are you our next Bank Regional Maintenance Operative? Here’s more about the role:

As a Bank Regional Maintenance Operative working within the Care Asset Team, the role is to provide support to the existing team that works within the care homes located in the South West at your care homes in Weston-super-Mare, Bridgwater and Minehead.

You will regularly engage with residents, their families, and colleagues as part of your daily activities. Additionally, you will liaise with contractors, coordinate their services, and ensure that work is completed to a high standard.

As this is a regional role, visits to other homes may be necessary to provide cover or as part of planned maintenance activities.

  • Practical skills in recognizing and performing minor repairs are important, such as basic plumbing skills and DIY experience.
  • The ideal candidate should possess fundamental knowledge of health and safety protocols. Familiarity with Legionella disease is also beneficial.
  • Having a valid driver's license and access to personal transportation are necessary requirements.
  • The role will include use of an iPad and or Laptop along with compliance applications that you will use daily.
