Job summary

Rowcroft Hospice is seeking a Bank Patient Services Cook to join the catering team at its Torquay site. The role is variable hours depending on service needs, paying £12.99 per hour under a Bank Agreement, and involves cooking for inpatients and communicating with patients and relatives to tailor meals.

Bank Agreement

We are looking to recruit into the role of Bank Patient Services Cook as part of our catering team. Within this role you will be available to support our catering team to ensure that we can continue to provide a seamless service to patients.

This role will require you to cook meals to a high standard for our patients within the Inpatient Unit whilst providing a patient centred approach to food offered.

You will also be expected to communicate daily with patients and their relatives as part of your role to ensure we can tailor food to each individual patient’s choice.
