Job summary

Agincare Group is hiring a Bank Cook for our Blenheim care home in Bournemouth, offering a stimulating role where you can apply creativity to deliver comforting meals for residents.

You will work on a mix of shifts under a zero hour contract, crafting menus that meet individual dietary needs and maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation while supporting the kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months right to work.
• Experience in a professional kitchen and understanding of kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or experience supporting complex dietary requirements is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create daily menus and support kitchen organisation.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation.
• Assist in covering shifts as a Bank Cook on a zero hour contract.

What’s on the menu for you:

• £13.97 per hour

What is required from you?

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
• Experience in a professional kitchen and an understanding of kitchen operations
• Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or experience supporting complex dietary requirements (desirable)
• Bank Cook to cover a mix of shifts as and when required - this is a zero hour contract

Whether it’s crafting delicious meals that meet individual dietary needs, creating themed dining experiences that bring the home to life, or simply serving a favourite dish that reminds someone of home, you’ll be making a real difference every day.

Using your culinary skills and food knowledge, you’ll help create daily menus, support the organisation and smooth running of the kitchen, and ensure the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation are maintained at all times.
