Job summary

Nuffield Health Cardiff and Vale Hospitals is seeking a part-time Housekeeper/Domestic Assistant to help keep our hospital environments clean, safe and welcoming for patients and staff.

You will assist with room cleaning, waste removal, linen collection and deep cleaning, working on a bank/ad-hoc basis to cover peaks in demand. A friendly approach, good communication and reliability are essential; gym discount and pension benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital or cleaning role is preferred.
• Friendly and able to communicate clearly with patients and colleagues.
• Reliable, flexible and able to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms and hospital areas to high standards.
• Remove waste and collect linen as part of daily duties.
• Perform deep cleaning and assist with other housekeeping tasks as needed.
