Job summary

Nuffield Health in Cardiff is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to join our hospital team. This role covers 30 hours per week, contributing to a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients by cleaning and preparing areas using modern equipment and training.

You will work closely with the infection prevention team, be friendly and proactive, and help maintain high standards of cleanliness while balancing patient care priorities. Benefits include gym membership and pension options.

Responsibilities

• Keeping our Hospitals clean by cleaning and preparing areas, utilising the latest equipment.
• Room cleaning, waste removal, linen collection and deep cleaning.
• Ensure cleaning never gets in the way of a patient’s experience; maintain a safe, pleasant environment.

You will take pride in your work and undertake a variety of general responsibilities ranging from room cleaning, waste removal, linen collection and deep cleaning.As a Housekeeper, you will:Care about our patients so that you can organise your work and plan your time with assistance from our Heads of Housekeeping to make sure cleaning never gets in the way of a patients’ experience.Be friendly, with good communication and customer service skills.
