Job summary

Nuffield Health Tees Hospital is seeking a Housekeeper to help create a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients across departments, including wards and public areas. You will clean rooms, remove waste, collect linen and perform deep cleaning using modern equipment, supported by a thorough training programme.

Working on a bank/ad-hoc basis, you’ll join a friendly team, commit to high hygiene standards and patient care, with benefits including pension and gym discount.

Qualifications

• Friendly, with good communication and customer service skills.
• Ideally experienced in a similar housekeeping role.
• Well organized and able to follow cleaning procedures to maintain a safe hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare a range of hospital areas, including rooms and public spaces.
• Carry out room cleaning, waste removal, linen collection and deep cleaning as required.
• Work with the Infection Prevention team and report incidents.

We are looking for a Housekeeper who will help us to create a clean, safe and pleasant environment for patients by cleaning and preparing a range of areas, utilising the latest equipment, products and supported by a first-class training programme. You will take pride in your work and undertake a variety of general responsibilities ranging from room cleaning, waste removal, linen collection and deep cleaning.As a Housekeeper, you will:Care about our patients so that you can organize your work and plan your time with assistance from our Heads of Housekeeping to make sure cleaning never gets in the way of a patients’ experience.Be friendly, with good communication and customer service skills.
