Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Housekeeper for Bristol Hospital on a bank, ad-hoc basis. You will clean and prepare areas to create a clean, safe environment for patients, using modern equipment and following training. Be friendly and communicate well with colleagues and patients to support a high standard of care.

The role involves room cleaning, waste removal, linen collection and deep cleaning, with flexible hours and a benefits package including holiday, pension and discounted gym membership.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient areas, rooms and hospital facilities to ensure a safe, pleasant environment.
• Handle waste removal, linen collection and deep cleaning as required.
• Interact with patients with friendliness and good communication to support a positive experience.
• Work with Infection prevention team and report incidents as needed.

We are looking for a Housekeeper who will help us to create a clean, safe and pleasant environment for patients by cleaning and preparing a range of areas, utilising the latest equipment, products and supported by a first-class training programme. You will take pride in your work and undertake a variety of general responsibilities ranging from room cleaning, waste removal, linen collection and deep cleaning.As a Housekeeper, you will:Care about our patients so that you can organise your work and plan your time with assistance from our Heads of Housekeeping to make sure cleaning never gets in the way of a patients’ experience.Be friendly, with good communication and customer service skills.
