Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Maidstone, part of the Cygnet Group, is recruiting a Bank Housekeeper to provide flexible ad-hoc cover for annual leave, sickness, and training at the 65-bed mental health facility in Maidstone. Shifts typically run 7am–3pm across seven days, and the role involves delivering a friendly cleaning and housekeeping service on site.

The ideal candidate will have housekeeping or domestic work experience, some COSHH knowledge, and a positive, communicative attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or domestic work (desirable).
• Knowledgeable of COSHH (desirable).
• Friendly, conscientious and have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide a cleaning and general housekeeping service
• Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness
• Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes
• Replenish stock & ensure that equipment is clean & well maintained
• Employ safe working practices and adhere to health & safety procedures
• Comply with COSHH regulations.

Cygnet Hospital Maidstoneis our state‑of‑the‑art, 65 bed mental health facility for adults situated in the new Kent Medical Campus in Maidstone.

We are recruiting for aBank Housekeeper who is looking for flexibility and can workad-hoc shiftsto provide cover for annual leave, sickness, training, etc as and when required.

Shift times are usually 7am – 3pm across 7 days.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing friendly, effective cleaning service with a positive attitude.

Your Day-to-Day…

• Provide a cleaning and general housekeeping service
• Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness
• Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes
• Replenish stock & ensure that equipment is clean & well maintained
• Employ safe working practices and adhere to health & safety procedures
• Comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations.

You are…

• Experienced in housekeeping or domestic work (desirable)
• Knowledgeable of COSHH (desirable)
• Friendly, conscientious & have a positive attitude
• A good communicator.
