Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Bury is seeking a Bank Housekeeper to provide cleaning and general housekeeping across the site, supporting CAMHS services. Shifts from 8am to 4:30pm are available on a flexible bank contract at Bury Forestwood, contributing to a safe and hygienic environment for people in our care.

You'll join an established team with access to on-site facilities and education programmes; DBS check required.

Qualifications

Experience in housekeeping or domestic work (desirable)
Knowledge of COSHH (desirable)
Friendly, conscientious & have a positive attitude
A good communicator

Responsibilities

Provide a cleaning and general housekeeping service
Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness
Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes
Replenish stock & ensure that equipment is clean & well maintained
Employ safe working practices and adhere to health & safety procedures
Comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations

We are looking for an outstanding Housekeeper with a passion for making a difference to others. You'll be working a flexible bank contract with shifts from 8am to 4:30pm available at Cygnet Hospital Bury Forestwood, helping maintain a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care.

Cygnet Bury Forestwood offers CAMHS Tier 4 PICU, General Acute and Low Secure services across four wards which provide a defined treatment pathway from admission through to intervention and discharge including rapid assessment and treatment.

Each service user has a bedroom with en suite facilities and a range of communal spaces including a gym, laundry, occupational therapy kitchen, therapy garden and woodland walkways down to the Elton Reservoir.

In addition there is a diverse educational programme teaching a range of subjects available at the on-site school, Forestwood School, which is registered with the Department for Education.
