Job summary

Agincare is seeking a cook for Blenheim Care Home in Dorset. You will craft meals, respect dietary needs and contribute to themed dining experiences, bringing comfort and care to residents.

You will support menu planning, kitchen organization and uphold hygiene and presentation standards daily. This role offers zero-hour shifts and opportunities for funded training and development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Experience in a professional kitchen.
• Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or experience supporting complex dietary requirements (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Plan and craft meals meeting individual dietary needs and preferences.
• Support the smooth running of the kitchen and daily menu creation.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation.

What is required from you?

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
• Experience in a professional kitchen and an understanding of kitchen operations
• Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or experience supporting complex dietary requirements (desirable)
• Bank Cook to cover a mix of shifts as and when required - this is a zero hour contract

About The Role

Whether it's crafting delicious meals that meet individual dietary needs, creating themed dining experiences that bring the home to life, or simply serving a favourite dish that reminds someone of home, you'll be making a real difference every day. Using your culinary skills and food knowledge, you'll help create daily menus, support the organisation and smooth running of the kitchen, and ensure the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation are maintained at all times.
