Job summary

Jane Lewis Healthcare Recruitment is seeking experienced Children's Support Workers to join the bank team at Granville Lodge in Hartlepool. Granville Lodge is a specialist residential and short break service for young people with complex life-long health conditions.

You will provide practical care, help with activities, encourage independence, and follow support plans while keeping clear records. This is flexible bank work with shifts offered according to service needs; sponsorship is not

Qualifications

• Age 18 or over.
• At least six months of paid UK care or support experience within the last two years.
• Six months prior experience in a childrens complex care setting.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Caring, reliable and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical care and support to children and young people.
• Help them take part in everyday activities, play and outings.
• Encourage independence, choice and social interaction.
• Provide or prompt personal care when required.
• Follow individual support plans and keep accurate records.

Pay: From £18.22 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay

We are looking for experienced Children's Support Workers to join the bank team at Granville Lodge in Hartlepool.Granville Lodge is a specialist residential and short break service for young people with complex life-long health conditionssuch as brain injuries, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities or other complex needs.

What you'll be doing:

• Providing practical care and support to children and young people
• Helping them take part in everyday activities, play and outings
• Encouraging independence, choice and social interaction in ways suited to their age and needs
• Providing or prompting personal care when required
• Following individual support plans and keeping accurate records

What you'll need:

• To be aged 18 or over
