Job summary

Shaw Healthcare, Maes-Y-Dderwen, is seeking a dedicated Chef to prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents in a care setting. You will plan varied menus, cater for dietary and cultural needs, and support celebratory events with high-quality catering.

The role involves ordering stock within budget, maintaining HACCP records and upholding rigorous cleanliness standards while leading and supporting the catering team. Shaw is an employee-owned group offering a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing, cooking and serving meals for residents.
• Ability to plan nutritious menus catering for dietary and cultural needs.
• Experience leading a catering team and motivating staff.
• Familiarity with HACCP and food safety procedures.
