Shaw healthcare in the UK is seeking a passionate Chef to join Trenewydd care home. Prepare, cook and serve fresh, high-quality meals for residents, champion nutritious menus and cater for dietary and cultural needs.

You will order stock within budget, maintain HACCP records, ensure cleanliness, lead and support the catering team, and help celebrate special occasions with themed events.

Qualifications

• Preparing, cooking and serving fresh, high-quality meals for residents.
• Planning varied, nutritious menus that cater for dietary, cultural and individual preferences.
• Supporting celebrations, themed events and special occasions with delicious catering.
• Ordering stock within budget and company guidelines using approved suppliers.
• Maintaining accurate food safety records in line with HACCP requirements.
• Ensuring the kitchen consistently meets high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, following all procedures.
• Leading, motivating and supporting members of the catering team.
