Job summary

Shaw Healthcare's Wylesfield care home in Llandrindod Wells is hiring a Catering Assistant to support the chef, prepare nutritious meals and maintain high kitchen standards for residents.

You will help with food preparation, serve hot meals and snacks, keep surfaces clean, follow food hygiene and safety procedures, and work as part of a friendly catering team on a bank, as-needed basis including weekends.

• Assisting with food preparation.
• Preparing hot meals, sandwiches and light refreshments when required.
• Keeping the kitchen clean and hygienic.

• Clearing tea trolleys where applicable.

Working alongside our Chef, you'll help prepare nutritious meals that bring comfort and enjoyment to our residents. You'll also help keep the kitchen running smoothly, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and safety.
