Job summary

Agincare is hiring a Care Assistant Nights at The Coombs: Care Home in Gloucestershire. You will provide compassionate care and support to residents during night shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, engage residents, and support communication.
• Assist with personal care including washing, dressing, and oral care.
• Prompt, assist, or administer medications as required.
• Support meals and hydration with healthy options.
• Perform light domestic tasks and maintain a clean living area.
• Assist mobility and promote independence.
• Coordinate social activities and outings within the home.

What is required from you?

A day in the life of a Care Assistant

• Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
• Personal care - supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
• Medication - Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
• Meals - Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
• Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
• Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
