Agincare is seeking a Care Assistant for Rodley House, Lydney. The role involves night shifts from 20:00 to 08:00, working 36 hours per week and alternating weekends.

You will provide companionship, personal care, medication support, and assist with meals, mobility and daily tasks within the home. Training is funded and opportunities for career development are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
• 36 hours per week to include alternate weekends.
• Night shift position, 20:00–08:00.

Responsabilités

• Companionship - providing support, companionship, communication and engagement.
• Personal care - assisting with wash, bath or shower and helping with dressing and oral care.
• Medication - prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
• Meals – supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
• Mobility - helping the client to live as independently as possible.
• Social activities - trips out and activities within the home.

A day in the life of a Care Assistant

• Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
• Personal care -supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
• Medication -Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
• Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
• Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
• Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
