Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking an Emergency Clinical Practitioner (Band 7) for the Trowbridge MIU. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team delivering minor injuries and illnesses care to the local community, with collaboration across RUH Bath and BSW partners.

The role requires APiCA and Non-Medical Prescribing, with opportunities for development, eLearning, and a supportive culture focused on safe, high-quality care. Hours are 34.5 per week with a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Current professional registration.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Relevant minor injuries or emergency department experience and qualifications e.g. APICA.
• Independent Non-Medical prescribing.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously assess, examine, document, prescribe, implement and evaluate care and discharge of MIU patients.
• Ensure safe staffing and management of the MIU in the absence of the lead clinician.
• Coordinate specialist interventions for urgent health care needs in the BSW region.
