Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration or HCPC registration.
• Evidence of Minor Injuries and Minor Illness modules.
• Level 7 Advanced Clinical Assessment Module completed.
• Independent Prescriber status or pathway.
• MSC in Advanced Clinical Practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care in collaboration with Emergency services and other health professionals.
• Define standards of care and practice to improve quality.
• Work with senior staff on operational management and service development.
• Act as team Leader on a rotational basis.
• Take designated responsibility for discrete operational areas.
• Communicate complex information to patients and families.
• Deliver care within a culturally sensitive framework.
• Implement, disseminate and evaluate service audits.
