Rate: £24.00 – £27.00 per hour

Job Description:
Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 Locum Medical Respiratory Physiotherapist to join our team in Sutton. This role is vital for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with respiratory conditions within a medical setting.

What your responsibilities will be for this Physiotherapist role?

As a Band 6 Locum Medical Respiratory Physiotherapist you will conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with respiratory conditions, utilizing your clinical expertise to develop individualized treatment plans. You will implement appropriate physiotherapy interventions, including airway clearance techniques and rehabilitation exercises. You will manage ward-based patients, ensuring timely and effective care to enhance their respiratory function. You will perform NP assessments as required, collaborating closely with medical staff to provide integrated care. You will monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring optimal recovery outcomes. You will maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
  • Experience in a medical and respiratory physiotherapy setting
  • Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a ward-based environment
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
