Job Title: Dietitian

Location: London, Greater London

Banding: Band 6

Start date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Rate: £25-£28 per hour

Working hours: 3 days per week, up to full-time 37.5 hours per week, 09:00am – 17:00pm

A fantastic opportunity is available for a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Dietitian to join a supportive multidisciplinary team in London. This role is ideal for a professional passionate about delivering high-quality nutritional care and impacting patients’ health and wellbeing. The successful candidate will work across various clinical areas, providing expert dietary advice and developing personalized nutrition plans.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement evidence-based dietary interventions for patients with diverse clinical conditions.
• Conduct nutritional assessments, develop tailored care plans, and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals to ensure integrated care.
• Support inpatient and outpatient services, focusing on gastrointestinal surgery, colorectal care, nutritional support including enteral feeding and TPN.
• Participate in service development, clinical audits, and patient education.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Dietetics or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• Registration with HCPC.
• Experience in GI surgical, colorectal, gastroenterology, enteral feeding, and TPN (essential).
• Low FODMAP training and outpatient experience (desirable).
• Strong clinical knowledge across dietetic specialties.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize demands.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and professional development.
