Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking an Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse in Worcester to join our Emergency Department team. Band 5 role offering a variety of shifts, including full-time, part-time and flexible patterns, with an hourly rate of £23.00–£34.00.

You will provide urgent care, triage, stabilisation and monitoring in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must hold valid NMC registration and be able to work across nights, weekends and days.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration.
• Excellent interpersonal and team communication skills.
• Willingness to work across nights, weekends and days.
• DBS check (Pulse Nursing can help facilitate).

Responsibilities

• Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing condition and prioritising care by severity.
• Administering initial treatments and stabilising patients as needed.
• Monitoring vital signs and recording changes in patient condition.
• Assisting the medical team with diagnostic tests and interpreting results.
• Administering medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Access to a dedicated consultant for support and advice.

Job Title: Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse Banding: Band 5 Location: Worcester, Worcestershire Rate: £23.00 - £34.00 per hour

As an Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse, you will be an integral part of our Emergency Department team in the Worcester area, providing urgent and critical care to patients experiencing various medical emergencies. Your quick decision-making skills, ability to handle high-pressure situations, and compassionate approach will ensure that patients receive timely and efficient care during their most vulnerable moments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.
• Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilize patients, providing life-saving measures when necessary.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients’ conditions.
• Assisting the medical team in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting the results.
• Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians.
• Access to a dedicated consultant for support and advice.

Requirements:

• Valid NMC registration.
