Job summary

Pulse Nursing is seeking a Band 5 Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse in Manchester to join our Emergency Department team, delivering urgent and high-quality care to patients with medical emergencies. You will triage, stabilise, monitor vitals, assist diagnostics, and administer medications and IV therapy under physician direction, with flexible full-time, part-time, and shift options and weekly pay.

Requirements include valid NMC registration, at least 6 months' experience, strong communication

• 6 months experience in A&E or similar.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work across nights, weekends and days.
• DBS check (assistance available).

Job Title: Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse
Banding: Band 5
Location: Gloucestershire
Rate: £17.50 - £28.50 per hour

As an Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse, you will be an integral part of our Emergency Department team, providing urgent and critical care to patients experiencing various medical emergencies. Your quick decision-making skills, ability to handle high-pressure situations, and compassionate approach will ensure that patients receive timely and efficient care during their most vulnerable moments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritising care based on the severity of their condition.
• Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilise patients, providing life-saving measures when necessary.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients’ conditions.
• Assisting the medical team in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting the results.
• Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians.
