A healthcare organization in St Albans is seeking highly motivated Theatre Support Workers to join their team. You will play an essential role in supporting patients throughout their perioperative journey as part of a dynamic Theatre team. The position is full-time, covering 12-hour days, and offers the chance to obtain a Healthcare apprenticeship qualification. As we grow and promote better patient care and experience, we are looking to recruit highly motivated and innovative Theatre Support Workers (TSW), who will embrace our exciting service developments, whilst providing the best care possible to our patients. We are looking to recruit Theatre Support Workers who will play an integral role at all stages of a patient's perioperative journey.
As a Theatre Support Worker, you will be a valuable part of the Theatre team.
As communication and basic numeracy are essential for this role, you will be required to successfully pass an assessment test as part of the selection process.
You will have the opportunity to undertake a Healthcare apprenticeship qualification. On completion of passing this qualification you will be moved to a Band 3.
We are recruiting for full time positions covering a 12-hour day, 5-day a week.
With a new hospital planned for Watford, work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital and plans for a neighbourhood healthcare centre in Hemel Hempstead, this is an exciting time to join us.
