Kemp Eko Talent Ltd in Leeds is recruiting a Baler & Compactor Engineer for day shifts Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. The role involves scheduled maintenance, breakdown response, and on-site installation support for balers, compactors and related recycling machinery.

You will perform electrical maintenance, fault finding, PLC work, oversee PPM schedules, and help improve quality, cost and safety on site. Overtime and a bonus scheme are available, with a £60,000 annual salary.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining balers and compactors or similar recycling machinery.
• Electrical maintenance, fault finding and PLC knowledge relevant to on-site equipment.
• Ability to install and commission machinery and perform routine PPM tasks.

Responsabilités

• Carry out scheduled maintenance on balers, compactors and related equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and provide on-site technical support.
• Perform electrical fault finding, PLC work and machinery installations.
• Maintain and improve equipment to support quality, cost and safety targets.
• Adhere to housekeeping and safety standards on site.

Job role: Baler & Compactor Engineer

Van - Fuel Card - Paid Door 2 Door

Shift: Monday - Friday - DAY SHIFT - 8am - 4pm

£60,000 Per Annum - Overtime - Bonus

We have partnered with a leading OEM of Baler & Compactors used within recycling, manufacturing, packaging, warehouse environments, who due to continued success are looking to recruit a Baler & Compactor Engineer.

The successful applicant will complete scheduled maintenance, attend breakdowns, assist with installations and provide technical support.

The main responsibilities of the Baler & Compactor Engineer will include.

• Ensuring plant equipment functioning in the correct manner.
• Maintaining all equipment on site - balers, compactors, conveyor systems, recycling machinery, shredders etc.
• Electrical maintenance, installation, fault finding, PLC's
• Installation of machinery onsite.
• Maintaining all mechanical and electrical process equipment.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Following a PPM schedule and recording follow up work.
• Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
• Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.
• Assisting production with machinery problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriate.
• Responsible for the protecting, always, of the integrity of the Company through positive and constructive actions and attitude.
