Job summary

Kemp Eko Talent Ltd is recruiting a Baler & Compactor Engineer to service and maintain balers, compactors and related recycling machinery on site. You will handle scheduled maintenance, breakdowns, installations and provide technical support to keep production running smoothly.

The role operates Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm and includes a company van, fuel card, and door-to-door paid travel. A strong electrical/mechanical background and PLC fault-finding skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining plant equipment (electrical and mechanical).
• Ability to fault-find electrical and PLC systems.
• Comfort with installations and on-site commissioning.
• Proactive in preventive maintenance and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring plant equipment functioning in the correct manner.
• Maintaining all equipment on site - balers, compactors, conveyor systems, recycling machinery, shredders etc.
• Electrical maintenance, installation, fault finding, PLC's
• Installation of machinery onsite.
• Maintaining all mechanical and electrical process equipment.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Following a PPM schedule and recording follow up work.
• Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
• Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.
• Assisting production with machinery problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriate.
• Responsible for the protecting, always, of the integrity of the Company through positive and constructive actions and attitude.

Shift: Monday - Friday - DAY SHIFT - 8am - 4pm

£60,000 Per Annum - Overtime - Bonus

We have partnered with a leading OEM of Baler & Compactors used within recycling, manufacturing, packaging, warehouse environments, who due to continued success are looking to recruit a Baler & Compactor Engineer.

The successful applicant will complete scheduled maintenance, attend breakdowns, assist with installations and provide technical support.

The main responsibilities of the Baler & Compactor Engineer will include.
