Kemp Eko Talent Ltd is recruiting a Baler & Compactor Engineer for our client’s site in York. The role operates Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, with an attractive salary package including overtime and a bonus potential.

You will perform scheduled maintenance, attend breakdowns, assist with installations and provide technical support across balers, compactors, conveyors and other recycling machinery. Strong electrical and PLC fault-finding skills are required.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance, fault finding and PLC troubleshooting are key responsibilities.
• Installation and maintenance of on-site machinery including balers, compactors and conveyors.
• Mechanical and electrical maintenance required to ensure equipment reliability.

Responsabilités

• Ensuring plant equipment functions correctly on site.
• Maintaining balers, compactors, conveyors and other recycling machinery.
• Electrical maintenance, fault finding and PLC work.
• Installing machinery on site and supporting commissioning.
• Maintaining all mechanical and electrical process equipment.
• Fault finding and diagnostics with follow-up actions.
• Following a PPM schedule and recording work performed.
• Upholding housekeeping standards daily.

Job role: Baler & Compactor Engineer

Van - Fuel Card - Paid Door 2 Door

Shift: Monday - Friday - DAY SHIFT - 8am - 4pm

£60,000 Per Annum - Overtime - Bonus

We have partnered with a leading OEM of Baler & Compactors used within recycling, manufacturing, packaging, warehouse environments, who due to continued success are looking to recruit a Baler & Compactor Engineer.

The successful applicant will complete scheduled maintenance, attend breakdowns, assist with installations and provide technical support.

The main responsibilities of the Baler & Compactor Engineer will include.

• Ensuring plant equipment functioning in the correct manner.
• Maintaining all equipment on site - balers, compactors, conveyor systems, recycling machinery, shredders etc.
• Electrical maintenance, installation, fault finding, PLC's
• Installation of machinery onsite.
• Maintaining all mechanical and electrical process equipment.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Following a PPM schedule and recording follow up work.
• Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
• Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.
• Assisting production with machinery problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriate.
• Responsible for the protecting, always, of the integrity of the Company through positive and constructive actions and attitude.
