Kemp Eko Talent Ltd is seeking a Baler & Compactor Engineer to join our team in Oxford. The role involves maintenance, breakdown response, and on-site installation of balers, compactors, conveyors and recycling machinery.

You will diagnose electrical faults, work with PLCs, and ensure safe, efficient operation across the site. The successful candidate will perform scheduled PMs, support production with setups, and contribute to continuous improvements in quality, cost and safety.

Qualifications

• Maintenance of plant equipment including balers, compactors, conveyors and recycling machinery.
• Electrical maintenance and fault finding, including PLCs.
• Installations and on-site commissioning of machinery.

Responsabilités

• Complete scheduled maintenance on balers, compactors and related equipment.
• Attend breakdowns and provide prompt technical support.
• Assist with installations and provide training when appropriate.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe working standards on site.
• Follow a preventative maintenance schedule and record follow-up work.
• Support production with machine setup and problem solving.

Job role: Baler & Compactor Engineer

Van - Fuel Card - Paid Door 2 Door

Shift: Monday - Friday - DAY SHIFT - 8am - 4pm

£60,000 Per Annum - Overtime - Bonus

We have partnered with a leading OEM of Baler & Compactors used within recycling, manufacturing, packaging, warehouse environments, who due to continued success are looking to recruit a Baler & Compactor Engineer.

The successful applicant will complete scheduled maintenance, attend breakdowns, assist with installations and provide technical support.

The main responsibilities of the Baler & Compactor Engineer will include.

• Ensuring plant equipment functioning in the correct manner.
• Maintaining all equipment on site - balers, compactors, conveyor systems, recycling machinery, shredders etc.
• Electrical maintenance, installation, fault finding, PLC's
• Installation of machinery onsite.
• Maintaining all mechanical and electrical process equipment.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Following a PPM schedule and recording follow up work.
• Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
• Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.
• Assisting production with machinery problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriate.
• Responsible for the protecting, always, of the integrity of the Company through positive and constructive actions and attitude.
