Job summary

Wenzel’s the Bakers Ltd. in Borehamwood is seeking a Shop Supervisor to lead daily store operations and a hardworking team, delivering excellent customer service while ensuring quality food preparation and displays.

You will help manage deliveries, stock, and shop hygiene, with opportunities for progression and training. The role offers a 39-hour week with a £13.00 per hour rate and flexible hours where possible.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment at supervisory level is required.
• Experience working in food production would be advantageous but not essential as full ongoing training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create an inviting experience.
• Receive and check daily deliveries.
• Assist with stock and displays management.
• Maintain hygiene and food safety standards.
• Open or close the shop and run shifts as needed.
• Drive sales and minimise wastage.
