Job summary

GET BAKED is seeking a Shift Manager for bakery production to lead the production team and own the shift, delivering safe, high-quality output on time in a fast-moving, high-volume environment.

You will work closely with the Production Manager, Operations Manager and Bakery Director to execute plans, solve problems quickly, and keep the operation running smoothly. Salary up to £32,000 per annum plus benefits based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production or manufacturing (bakery preferred).
• Strong understanding of GMP, hygiene and food safety standards.
• Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage pressure and make decisions in real time.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of daily production plans and output targets.
• Ensure efficient use of labour and resources on shift.
• Maintain control of production schedule and respond to issues in real time.
• Uphold high standards of GMP, hygiene and food safety.
• Lead, motivate and organise the production team.
• Set and enforce high standards of behaviour and accountability.
