Job summary

Cornish Bakery in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Bakery Manager to lead a busy customer‑facing operation. You will inspire the team, uphold high food safety standards and drive excellent service while delivering sales KPIs.

You will coach staff, manage costs, train to brand standards, and embed a high‑end bakery mindset within the team as you strengthen ties with the local community. The role includes full training on our Rise and Shine Programme and a supportive, fast paced

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within hospitality, food service, café, bakery, or restaurant environments.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience managing sales targets, budgets, and KPIs.
• Food preparation and food service experience.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, food safety, and quality standards.
• Experience in staff training and coaching.
• Ability to manage stock, wastage, and controllable costs.
• Experience working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
