Job summary

Staffline is hiring a Bakery Operative for our Farrington Gurney site. You will set up and run bakery machinery, perform metal detection checks, and complete required paperwork.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm. You will prepare and pack product, keep work areas clean, and support a positive team environment while following food safety procedures.

This temp-to-perm role includes on-site parking, free meals and beverages, PPE provided, and a cooperative team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow food safety standards and procedures.
• Healthy attendance record with motivated approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and running bakery machinery including baking products.
• Carrying out metal detection checks.
• Accurately completing required paperwork.
• Preparing and packing product into boxes.
• Ensuring workstations and floor areas are clean and tidy.
• Maintain a good working atmosphere in the team.
• Minimise and report any waste of packaging/products.

A great opportunity to work as Bakery Operative at our clients site based in Farrington Gurney.

The hours of work are; Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm.

The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour.

Your Time at Work

• Setting up and running bakery machinery including baking products
• Carrying out metal detection checks
• Accurately completing required paperwork
• Preparing and packing product into boxes
• Ensuring workstations and floor areas are clean and tidy
• Maintain a good working atmosphere in the team
• Minimise and report any waste of packaging/products
