Job summary

Ethero Ltd is recruiting for a Bakery Production Assistant in the Stoke-on-Trent area, including Newcastle-under-Lyme. You will assist with the preparation and production of bakery goods and pack finished products. Training provided, with shifts on 12-hour cycles across 3-5 days per week.

You'll operate machinery under supervision, maintain a clean, hygienic work area, and record activities. The role suits someone reliable, detail-oriented, able to work independently or in a team, and flexible

• Good attention to detail and willingness to follow procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable with manual handling and standing for long periods.
• Previous food-production experience is helpful but not essential.

Working hours

• Any 3-5 days out of 7
• Sunday to Saturday
• 12h shifts

Shift times as follows

• 18:30 - 06:30 / 06:30 - 18:30
• 19:00 to 07:00 / 19:00 to 07:00

Requirements

• Good attention to detail and willingness to follow procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable with manual handling and standing for periods (reasonable adjustments considered)
• Previous food-production experience is helpful but not essential
