Job summary

Ethero Strategic Staffing is seeking a Bakery Production Operative in Newcastle-under-Lyme (ST5). You will assist with preparation and production of bakery products, and operate machinery under supervision while maintaining high hygiene standards.

Flexibility to work across departments, standing for long periods, and following procedures are essential. Pay £13.11–£13.15 per hour PAYE, weekly; pension and other benefits available. Commutable from surrounding areas.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable with manual handling and standing for long periods.

Statutory Deductions for TAX, NI and Pension if not opted out apply

Working Hours

• Any 4 days out of 7
• Sunday to Saturday

Shift Times As Follows

• 18:30 - 06:30 / 06:30 - 18:30
• 19:00 to 07:00 / 19:00 to 07:00

Requirements

• Good attention to detail and willingness to follow procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable with manual handling and standing for periods (reasonable adjustments considered)

Previous Food-production Experience Is Helpful But Not Essential
