Job summary

Staffline is recruiting for Food Production Operatives to work Nights in Bromborough. The rate of pay is £13.50 per hour, with overtime paid at £15.89 per hour after 48 hours.

You will work 4 on 4 off, from 6.30pm to 6.30am, with on-site support from Staffline and a canteen provided. Experience as a Food Production Operative or Warehouse/Factory Operative is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Food Production Operative or similar factory/production role is desirable but not required.
• Ability to perform physical work including lifting in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team in a fast-paced packing environment.
• Heavy lifting and repetitive work, including erecting boxes.
• Pack products into boxes (frozen, ambient and hot).
• Load hoppers with raw ingredients and unbox fats at start of process.
• Apply lids to pails with finished product; perform cleaning duties.

Great opportunity to work as a Food Production Operative for our clients leading Bakery.

Staffline is recruiting for Food Production Operatives to work Nights in Bromborough.

The rate of pay is £13.50 per hour.

Overtime is available after 48 hours paid at £15.89 per hour.

You will work 4 on 4 off Sunday to Saturday, 6.30pm to 6.30am.

Your Time at Work

As a General Food Production Operative your duties would include:

• Working as part of a team in a fast-paced packing environment.
• Some heavy lifting and repetitive work is involved -Erecting boxes
• Packing products into boxes (frozen, ambient and hot)
• Loading hoppers with raw ingredients
• Unboxing fats at the start of the process
• Applying lids to pails with the finished product in
• Cleaning duties

All breaks will be unpaid, but colleagues will receive paid time for all operational procedures.

Our Perfect Worker

Our ideal Food Production Operative is a quick-thinking team player as well as a fast learner. Some manual handling will be involved and so a certain level of physical fitness is required.

Experience as a Food Production Operative, Warehouse/Production or Factory Operative is desirable but not necessary as full training will be provided.
