Job summary

Cornish Bakery is seeking an experienced Bakery Manager to lead a busy cafe/bakery team in a customer‑facing environment. You will drive exceptional service, maintain high food quality and safety, and coach staff to reach their full potential.

As a senior leader, you will manage costs, achieve sales targets and KPI goals, and foster a collaborative team culture that puts the customer at the heart of everything we do.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in hospitality, food service, or retail.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience managing sales targets, budgets and KPIs.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, safety and quality standards.
• Experience training and coaching staff.
• Ability to manage stock and controllable costs.

Proven track record of managing teams, delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales and KPI targets, and maintaining high food quality and safety standards. What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within hospitality, food service, retail, café, bakery, or restaurant environments.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience managing sales targets, budgets, and KPIs.
• Food preparation and food service experience.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, food safety, and quality standards.
• Experience in staff training and coaching.
• Ability to manage stock, wastage, and controllable costs.
• Experience working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
