Job summary

Cornish Bakery in Windermere is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead a passionate team, deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high food standards. You will drive sales targets, coach staff and manage costs, while embedding the brand’s high-end bakery mindset.

The role offers full-time hours with a base salary and lucrative on-target bonuses, plus strong staff benefits. You will play a pivotal role in the local community bakery experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in management or supervision in hospitality, food service, retail, café, bakery or restaurant environments.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
• Track record of delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience managing sales targets, budgets and KPIs.
• Food preparation and food service experience.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, safety and quality standards.
• Experience training and coaching staff.
• Ability to manage stock, wastage and controllable costs.
• Experience in fast-paced customer-facing environments.

Proven track record of managing teams, delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales and KPI targets, and maintaining high food quality and safety standards. What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within hospitality, food service, retail, café, bakery, or restaurant environments.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience managing sales targets, budgets, and KPIs.
• Food preparation and food service experience.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, food safety, and quality standards.
• Experience in staff training and coaching.
• Ability to manage stock, wastage, and controllable costs.
• Experience working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
