Job summary

Cornish Bakery is seeking an experienced Bakery Manager to inspire the team, deliver industry-leading customer service and maintain high food quality and safety standards in a busy bakery environment.

You will lead, coach and develop staff, manage costs and KPIs, and embed a High End Bakery mindset while strengthening the bakery’s role in the local community.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management or supervisory role in hospitality, food service, retail, café, bakery or restaurant environments.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
• Track record of delivering excellent customer service and managing KPIs.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, safety and quality standards.

We are looking for an experienced manager with leadership experience in food service and customer-facing environments. Proven track record of managing teams, delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales and KPI targets, and maintaining high food quality and safety standards. What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within hospitality, food service, retail, café, bakery, or restaurant environments.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience managing sales targets, budgets, and KPIs.
• Food preparation and food service experience.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, food safety, and quality standards.
• Experience in staff training and coaching.
• Ability to manage stock, wastage, and controllable costs.
• Experience working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
