Job summary

The Cornish Bakery in Padstow is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead a high-end bakery team, drive outstanding guest service and uphold top food quality and safety standards.

You will coach colleagues, nurture personal development, and ensure the bakery remains the heart of the local community while meeting sales and KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within hospitality, food service, retail, café, bakery, or restaurant environments.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience managing sales targets, budgets, and KPIs.
• Food preparation and food service experience.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, food safety, and quality standards.
• Experience in staff training and coaching.
• Ability to manage stock, wastage, and controllable costs.
• Experience working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Proven track record of managing teams, delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales and KPI targets, and maintaining high food quality and safety standards.
